The provincial government stated that the study is being conducted in cooperation with Michelin and King County and is expected to end at the end of the summer.
Michelin will produce trucks, buses, bulldozers and construction machinery tires at its 30-year-old Waterville plant, with an estimated production capacity of 4,200 per day. It is reported that Michelin employees employ 1,200 employees in the factory and 3,500 employees in Nova Scotia.
The Nova Scotia government said that through its jobsHere plan to fully help companies participate in global market competition, thus creating more and better employment opportunities for Nova Scotia.
