·China's commercial vehicle sales have achieved positive growth this year

A series of statistics released by the “2016 Future Auto Conference” held in Shanghai recently showed that the current Chinese auto industry is still in a benign development stage; especially the positive growth of commercial vehicle sales has further enhanced the confidence of the auto market.
According to the statistics of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, from January to August this year, the national automobile sales reached 16.755 million, an increase of 4% over the same period last year. Among them, both car and commercial vehicle sales showed positive growth. From January to September, vehicle sales increased by 13.2% year-on-year, and the growth rate accelerated by 5.5 percentage points from the first half of the year.
According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, China’s auto sales this year are about 6% higher than last year, with a total of nearly 26 million.
Gu Xianghua, consultant of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, believes that China's automobile sales have ranked first in the world for seven consecutive years. The proportion of global automobile sales has reached 27%, and the product structure tends to be reasonable, indicating that the entire automobile industry is still in a healthy development. .
Gu Xianghua pointed out that commercial vehicles (including all trucks and more than 9 passenger cars) have long been regarded as "macroeconomic barometers". In 2014-2015, China's commercial vehicle sales experienced negative growth for two consecutive years, with sales of 3.45 million units last year, a negative growth of 9%. “But achieving positive growth this year shows that China’s macro economy is showing positive changes.”
The latest analysis of the Ministry of Commerce believes that China's auto sales have accelerated this year for three main reasons: First, the promotion of domestic consumption structure, the growth of “development and enjoyment” consumption demand; second, the stimulus policy with specific automobile consumption. It is about to expire. Since the end of last year, the state has implemented a purchase tax halving policy for small-displacement vehicles of 1.6 liters or less.
